This is not a recipe per se, it's just a coffee with milk a little different. : D

  • 80 ml espresso coffee
  • 80 ml milk
  • sugar (for those who want, I prefer without sugar)

HOW TO PREPARE THE RECIPE Ice coffee:

1. Brew the coffee to your preferences and how you normally make it. Allow the coffee to cool down to at least room temperature.

2. If you want it quicker, you can add ice cubes but if the coffee was hot, it will dilute the coffee. You can alternatively chill the coffee in the fridge or freezer and do not use ice cubes.

2. Add heavy cream, liquid stevia, and (optionally) vanilla extract.

This makes a total of 1 serving of Iced Keto Coffee. For the serving, it is 160 calories, 16.1g fat, 1.5g net carbs, and 1.6g protein.

What you need to make Vietnamese iced coffee

To make the iced coffee itself, you will need the following:

  • Four teaspoons Vietnamese coffee
  • One cup of boiling water
  • Two teaspoons of sweetened condensed milk, or more depending on taste

How to use a phin

Some coffee drinkers use an espresso machine for this beverage. But if you want to make traditional Vietnamese iced coffee, you’ll want to use a phin. A phin is a filter that sits right over the vessel you plan to brew your coffee in and allows you to brew individual cups of coffee.

A phin has a lid, a body and a filter disk. There is also a lip or a rim that allows you to set the entire phin on a coffee cup or glass.
