How to make caramels in the microwave?

Ingredient:

  • 115g butter
  • 120ml liquid glucose
  • 200g brown sugar
  • 120ml sweet condensed milk
  • salt (optional)

Method of preparation:
Grease a ceramic heat-resistant dish (preferably square).
Melt the butter in the microwave in another bowl. Mix it with liquid glucose, sugar and condensed milk.
Put everything in the microwave at maximum power and cook for 6 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare an ice water bath.
After 6 minutes, take a teaspoon of camel and pour it into cold water. Take it out of the water by hand and roll it between your fingers. If you can form a soft ball out of it, then it's ready. If not, continue to cook the mixture for 30 seconds, until it reaches the desired consistency. Normally it should not last more than 8 minutes in total.
Slowly remove the bowl from the oven and pour the caramel into the greased bowl, prepared at the beginning.
If you want, you can sprinkle salt now.
Refrigerate the dish for at least 30 minutes, until the mixture hardens. Cut it into rectangles or squares and wrap them in wax paper each.
Store the caramels in a container with a lid at room temperature.
